House Rules

Dear Guests,

As hosts, our goal is to ensure that you have a pleasant stay with us and we strive to adapt to your needs. To ensure that everyone uses the guesthouse appropriately, rules have been established. We kindly ask for your cooperation in adhering to them! By ordering accommodation, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted the rules outlined in the house rules. We operate the apartment as a private accommodation service.

Check-in / Check-out: Check-in is generally between 15:00 and 21:00. If you plan to arrive later than this, please notify us by phone so we can arrange entry (+3630-264-2662). A personal ID card or passport is required for check-in. Unfortunately, due to current laws, we are unable to accommodate guests without proper identification. The accommodation can be occupied after payment of the accommodation fee and tourist tax (IFA). Tourist tax is mandatory for persons over 18 years of age, at a rate of 400 HUF/person/night. The apartment accommodation fee includes independent use of the apartment building (except the attic, separately accessible storage room, and possibly closed closets), terrace, garden, and the equipment therein (garden grills, outdoor seating, and other garden furniture, equipment, and facilities).

In case you decide to leave the accommodation earlier than the departure date specified in the booking, we are unable to refund the money. The same applies to the number of arriving guests. If fewer guests arrive than booked, we are unable to refund money within the penalty period. A 100% penalty must be paid 15 days prior to arrival, unless pandemic-related laws prohibit the reception of guests at the accommodation. If the apartment is not booked the day before arrival, we offer our guests the opportunity to occupy the accommodation earlier. To ensure cleanliness and order for the next guest, please vacate the accommodation by 10:00 on the day of departure. If the accommodation is not vacated by 10:30, an additional fee of 15,000 HUF per hour will be charged. The accommodation is handed over and taken over in person upon arrival and departure without exception!

Emergency service: We are available 24 hours a day at the following phone number: +3630-264-2662. Please inform us immediately in case of any problems.

Closing the yard and the building: Please lock the doors when leaving and at night! When leaving, please close the windows as well. Please take good care of the keys! In case of key loss, complete lock replacement is required, with a fee of 15,000 HUF/key. You will receive 1 entrance door key and 1 gate key per apartment.

Persons staying in the apartment building: Only registered guests may stay in the apartments! Only the number of guests and persons specified in the booking may use the apartments throughout the entire duration of use. Only the person identified by the host during the apartment handover process in the guest book/accommodation management application may stay in the apartment. Without prior agreement, hosting additional guests or using the apartment building, whether free or chargeable, is STRICTLY PROHIBITED! The host is entitled to verify without prior notice but without disturbing the guests and respecting their privacy and personal rights, who is staying at the accommodation.

Smoking: Smoking is only allowed in designated areas (yard, designated smoking area). We kindly ask our smoking guests to collect cigarette butts and dispose of them in the bins to maintain cleanliness, rather than scattering them around the property. Smoking inside the building is strictly PROHIBITED! Failure to comply with this rule will result in compensation (extra cleaning cost: 20,000 HUF/room).

It is PROHIBITED to consume drugs or excessive amounts of alcohol in the apartments, as well as to use any flammable materials (candles, incense, etc.)!

Bonfire and cooking in cauldrons: Building a fire is only allowed in the designated fire pit area, in calm weather, equipped with a bucket of extinguishing water. After building a fire, please remove the trash and extinguish the embers. It is strictly forbidden to pour hot embers into plastic bins! Chopping firewood on the concrete rim of the cauldron is prohibited! Only firewood and paper may be burned in the fire pit area!

Firewood: The first batch of firewood is complimentary. Additional firewood requests will incur charges!

Use of furnishings: Please use the furnishings for their intended purpose! Rearranging furniture or removing items from the apartments is strictly prohibited! Compensation must be paid for any damage to the furnishings!

Please use electricity and water economically. When using air conditioning, keep the windows closed and use it reasonably!

Please remember to turn off the air conditioning when leaving the apartment! Please note that if it remains on, we reserve the right to turn it off. Please take this into account!

Rules regarding pets: We do not accept pets, and we kindly ask for your understanding regarding this decision!

Waste disposal and management: We collect waste separately. Plastic waste and paper go into the yellow bin, general household waste goes into the black bin, glass goes into the green bin, and metal and organic waste go into the brown bin. Used oil must be collected in a plastic bottle. Do not pour anything into drains that could cause blockages! Please use the hygiene waste bins provided in the bathrooms!

Cleaning: For stays longer than one week, cleaning is performed weekly in the apartments, including changing bed linen and towels.

The ceramic hob can only be used with the pots and pans provided in the accommodation. Cleaning agents are provided for this purpose. Please only use these for cleaning.

Please leave the apartments tidy and cleaned upon departure! Otherwise, a cleaning fee of 15,000 HUF per apartment will be charged!

Anyone causing damage due to violating the House Rules or being negligent must compensate the host.

Parking: Up to 2 cars per apartment may be parked in the yard, only in designated parking areas.

Camping: Setting up tents in the garden is prohibited!

Safety: To preserve your valuables, please always lock the gate and the house. Fire extinguishers are located in the kitchens of the apartments, under the sinks. In case of fire, the guest is obliged to immediately call +3630-264-2662. It is prohibited to operate brought irons, kettles, coffee makers, heaters, and other electrical appliances that do not belong to the usual travel needs in the houses.

Wifi: Wifi service operates in the guesthouses, and its use is free of charge. Guests receive the Wifi connection password at check-in, along with the keys. The operator does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted operation and availability of Wifi. The guest uses the service at their own risk and responsibility, and the operator does not accept liability for direct or indirect damages incurred in or to the guest's device or its content during Wifi use.

Additional services: Daily cleaning: Available for an additional fee, together with laundry services. Transfer service: Provided for a fee upon prior request for arrival or departure transportation of the guest.

Additional information: Please note that besides you, other families (staying in other apartments) are also on the property, seeking relaxation and vacation. To ensure the peace of neighbors, loud noises, playing music loudly, or loud music listening are prohibited in the yard between 22:00 and 08:00. Organizing noisy parties or gatherings in the Holiday House is not allowed at any time; always observe the peace of the surrounding residents and guests in the other apartments and comply with the applicable quiet hours. Please pay special attention to this, as neighboring families live here on a permanent basis. We do not take responsibility for personal items left in the house. The guest is responsible for their own behavior within the house, the wellness area, and its surroundings. The guest is liable to compensate for any damage caused on the accommodation premises! In case of cancellation of accommodation due to violation of the house rules, the guest will not receive a refund of the paid fee, regardless of the shortened period!
